Pepa London’s Royal-Inspired Collection Now on Display at Kensington Palace

Explore Pepa London’s exclusive children’s collection inspired by Queen Elizabeth II’s childhood dress, now on display at the Kensington Palace gift shop.

We are beyond proud to announce a landmark moment for Pepa London — our exclusive collaboration with the independent charity Historic Royal Palaces is now on display at Kensington Palace, bringing British heritage and craftsmanship to the forefront of traditional childrenswear.

“Personally, I feel incredibly honoured to have been invited to do this. To be trusted with interpreting such iconic garments is not something I take lightly — it’s a privilege and a moment of pride for our brand.” — Pepa González, Founder of Pepa London

As part of the acclaimed Dress Codes exhibition, visitors now have the rare opportunity to view the original childhood dresses worn by the young Queen Elizabeth II and Princess Margaret. These historic garments, iconic examples of royal children’s fashion, are being publicly exhibited for the first time at Kensington Palace.

Back in 2024, Pepa London was granted access to the Royal Ceremonial Dress Collection at Hampton Court Palace, and was able to view these royal heirlooms up close and be the first brand to take inspiration from them for our product collections. It was from this extraordinary archive that our latest design was born  inspired by history, designed for today.

What can I see at the Dress Codes exhibition at Kensington Palace?
At the Dress Codes exhibition, you’ll see a range of items from Historic Royal Palaces’ Royal Ceremonial Dress Collection, including two original childhood garments worn by Queen Elizabeth II and Princess Margaret. At the end, visit the Kensington Palace gift shop to view and shop the Pepa London collection inspired by these historic dresses.

This is the first time a children’s fashion brand has worked in partnership with Historic Royal Palaces, and been inspired by children’s dress from the Royal Ceremonial Dress Collection. Making this not only a milestone for us but a truly one-of-a-kind experience for our customers.

Whether you're a royal enthusiast, a fashion history lover, or simply in search of a meaningful gift or heirloom, this collaboration offers a chance to take home a piece of British royal tradition.

Visit the Dress Codes exhibition, running until 30 November 2025, to view the original royal dresses and discover how Pepa London brings history to life, one beautiful stitch at a time. You can also explore and purchase the collection in person at our flagship store on Elizabeth Street, Belgravia.
