Founder's Letter: Spring/Summer 2024
Each garment we produce becomes an item of the present and a treasured heirloom connected to the past, present and future.
In crafting this spring/summer collection, I drew inspiration from fond memories of my childhood and those of my partner, Mike. Adventures with our respective siblings were the cornerstone of creativity, informed by quintessential British style and traditional family dressing. These nostalgic foundations permeate every aspect of this collection, from coordinated sibling looks to whimsical floral prints, timeless rompers, sailor suits and classic seasonal stripes.
As we embark on a new season, my unwavering focus and inspirations are firmly grounded in preserving time-honoured artisan techniques deeply rooted in the notions of culture, community, and family history. This year holds immense significance for Pepa London. Our little boy, Matthew, takes his first steps into school—a milestone I'm sure resonates with many of you! As a business, we joyously mark our tenth anniversary. Having been part of your family memories through the pieces designed for your little ones over the last decade, we aim this year to strengthen our bonds with you, our wonderful customers. An exciting adventure awaits on the horizon, and we're thrilled to share it with you!
